Reinvention tastes like this:

Tie me down, I'll fly away,
Clip my wings, I'll hobble to freedom.
Knock me down, and I'll get up again.

Here we are.

Today's the day, I'm finally graduating high school.
I won't miss it. I had some good times throughout these 12 years,
but honestly I wouldn't relive them.
Not just because I don't want to go through puberty again, but because I wouldn't change anything that happened.
It's time for me to take my best friends hand, who just happens to have the next last name in the alphabet, and start the next chapter of my life, for better or for worse.

Convos with Daddy...

I blatantly asked my dad how he reacted when he chased a girl back in the day, and he told me this: "Brittany, there's an old saying that says a man would walk in front of a bus for the woman he loves, and it's true."
So it got me to thinking, who the hell would I walk in front of a bus for?
That's a hard question to answer, since, as far as I know, no buses are threatening to take out my loved ones, therefore it's hard to really say.
There's one person, but I doubt they'd do the same for me, being as how they rarely find time for me.

As far as that goes, I just wanna know for sure, you know? I don't want to guess incorrectly, but I don't want to get my hopes up either.
Fuck this feeling.
But I know what I want, just don't know if I will get it.
